By accessing or using the Site and any of its tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. The service
The Site provides free, browser-based text utilities — including title case converters, letter case converters, word and character counters, a headline analyzer and Unicode text generators. All processing happens locally in your browser; the text you enter is not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The service is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and no account or registration is required.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the Site for any lawful personal or commercial purpose, including converting and analyzing text for your own work, your studies or your business. You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the Site, its hosting or its security;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download the Site's pages, or access the Site through automated means at a volume a human user would not generate;
- copy, mirror, republish or resell the Site's content or tools as your own;
- use the Site to create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory or infringes the rights of others.
3. Intellectual property
The Site's design, text, code and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Site for its intended purpose. You keep all rights to the text you enter into the tools — we claim no ownership over your input or over the converted output, and because processing is local we never even receive it.
4. Advertising
The Site is funded by advertising. We display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors, which may use cookies to personalize the ads you see, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the products or services promoted in third-party advertisements, and any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and them.
5. No warranty
While we work to keep the tools accurate and the Site available, the Site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. Style guides evolve and edge cases exist; you are responsible for verifying that any converted text meets the requirements of your publisher, instructor or platform before you rely on it. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Site is free, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to it shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
