About TitleCaseMaker

A free, fast and privacy-friendly collection of online text tools for writers, students, editors and anyone who works with words.

What this site is

TitleCaseMaker is a small suite of browser-based text utilities built around one common frustration: getting capitalization right. English style guides disagree about how titles should be capitalized, and switching between APA, Chicago, AP, MLA and AMA by hand is tedious and error-prone. Our title case converter applies the exact rule set you choose in a single click, so you can stop second-guessing whether "with" or "between" should be capitalized.

Around that core we have built a wider toolbox — a word counter, sentence case converter, uppercase-to-lowercase and lowercase-to-uppercase converters, capitalize-each-word, alternating case, reverse text, remove line breaks, and fancy Unicode text generators for social media.

Our principles

Who it's for

Students formatting essay and reference titles, bloggers and content marketers polishing headlines, authors and editors preparing manuscripts, journalists writing AP-style headers, and social-media creators who want eye-catching bold or strikethrough text. If your work involves typing a heading, one of these tools probably saves you a minute.

How it's funded

The Site is supported by unobtrusive advertising through Google AdSense, which keeps every tool free. You can learn how ads and cookies work, and how to opt out of personalized advertising, on our Privacy Policy page.
